Ryan Jenness Road to Recovery

Hi everyone, my name is Danielle Reo and I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my boyfriend Brandon’s family. On August 2nd, his brother Ryan did not wake up and needed to be rushed to the hospital. After a few devastating days, he finally awoke but he was unable to verbalize and answer to any command. He was given countless tests and MRI’s and we are still left with not many answers as to what caused this state of confusion and why this has happened. He is unable to recognize family, does not know where he is and unable to remember much of anything. Ryan is on dialysis three times a week and suffers from a kidney disease which can be an adding factor to what has happened. He is receiving occupational therapy, speech therapy and physical therapy where he is learning to swallow and walk again. His insurance can not cover all the therapies and sessions along with trying to get him to a Traumatic Brain Injury specialist to figure out what the next steps are. He is currently under 24/7 care in the hospital and the costs add up quickly. Ryan is an amazing man and father who deserves as much help as we can give during this traumatic time.
