Hello Family and Friends,

Did you know that May is Mental Health Awareness Month?

If you know me, you know that my family has been deeply affected by suicide and mental health and this cause is very near and dear to my heart.

In 2012, my beautiful 22 year old nephew Ryan took his life.  Ryan was smart, outgoing and deeply loved by his family and friends, and yet no one knew how much pain he was in.  Nothing could have prepared us for this tragic and heartbreaking event.

Too many people are suffering alone and in silence with depression and anxiety.   Due to Covid-19 we are seeing the devastating effects of mental health with the increase in addiction and suicide rates.

I’ve been challenged to raise $3000.00 in 24 hours and NEED YOUR HELP!!  I know that we can do this!

In honour of my nephew Ryan,  I've created RYAN'S HOPE and this GoFundMe page with all proceeds going to CAMH – The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.  I know many are out of work and fighting to make ends meet, but every single dollar counts, even if it’s $10 or $15.00...

Please join me in raising awareness and stop the stigma around addiction, suicide and mental health.

WE NEED TO END THE SILENCE AROUND THIS DEVASTATING DISEASE!

We could all use the love and support of each other during this very difficult time!

Thank you and much love.
