Ryan Holloway’s Memorial Fund
Our dear friend Ryan passed away in the early morning on December 16, 2020, after a long battle with cancer. If you knew Ryan, you were blessed to have known one of the most wonderful, generous, and kind people you could ever hope to meet. He was an amazing father to Lola, and husband to Nora. He was also a brilliant and hard-working scientist and engineer.
Ryan was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer in 2016, shortly after the birth of his baby girl, Lola. He underwent many treatments, including years of chemotherapy, radiation, and many surgeries. He fought so hard, and he wanted nothing more than to stay and be able to take care of his family.
Two weeks ago, Ryan was given the news that his treatments were not working, and unfortunately there were no more treatment options available. Their family hurriedly packed up their home in Honolulu, where they were living on an assignment for Ryan’s job, and returned to Reno. Ryan spent his final days surrounded by friends and family.
