Ryan was diagnosed with adenoid cyst carcinoma, a rare, incurable cancer this past month. He has already had one surgery and will need another as well as radiation therapy over the next few months. He is the hardest working man and is the sole provider for his family. He takes such good care of his wife, who has Lupus, and his 15-year-old daughter. Anyone that knows Ryan knows he is the kind of person who will do anything to help someone out and not ask for anything in return.
Ryan will be out of work for surgery, recovery, and most likely while he undergoes radiation therapy. He is an ironworker and is currently working out at the airport on the SLC Redevelopment Program. 
Ryan doesn't ask for much from people but will give them his all. He will stop what he is doing to give friends, family, even strangers a hand.
Ryan loves to garden, take care of his animals, and play with his nephews and nieces. Everyone who meets Ryan likes him right away. He always has to stay busy and is the hardest working man I know. 
The medical bills from his first surgery are starting to come in, and with another surgery plus radiation therapy, it is going to be rough few months financially, especially since he will not be working.
