Ryan Garcia's Food Pantry Eagle Scout Project

Hello! My name is Ryan Garcia and I am a Life Scout from the local Boy Scout troop, Troop 3. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout project and I would love to have your support in my endeavors.
Project Description
Due to the impact that COVID-19 has had on our community, I decided to build a food pantry in the Florence United Methodist Church, located on the corner of Broad Street and 2nd Street in Florence New Jersey, in order to help alleviate the financial burden carried by families. The pantry will be set up like a grocery store and will be complete with aisles of shelves, a checkout counter, in addition to both a fresh produce section and a pet food area.
So far, with the help of local volunteers from both Troop 3 and the high school's National Honor Society, the room has been cleaned, given a fresh coat of paint, and we have installed new lights. I have purchased shelving, a refrigerator, a freezer and I am in the process of building a custom “checkout” counter and organizing a food drive. Additionally, I am contacting local restaurants to arrange for the regular donation of properly packaged leftover food. Below are the blueprints for the final design:
How You Can Help
Even though the church is providing the funds for my project, I would like to supplement it as much as possible so that they can use the money to keep the pantry stocked. Therefore, any and all donations will make difference.
Upon completion of the project, I will be installing a placard listing the Gold Status Donors to the project. To achieve Gold Status, at least $100 must be donated. For each additional $200 increment, the font size of the donor’s name will increase. Therefore, a donation of $300 will have its font size increased once, while a $500 donation will have two. In addition, the donors will be listed on the placard in order of largest donation to smallest.
All funds will be withdraw by and go directly to the church. This food pantry has the potential to help eliminate the financial burden placed on all families that come seeking help during these hard times, and with your support, I believe that it will.
