Dear Friends and Family of Ryan Fish,

Today begins our fundraising campaign to help our dear student, friend and family member, Ryan Fish, as he battles Hodgkin's Lymphoma (stage two).

Last month, Ryan began the first round of chemotherapy at Lurie Children’s Hospital in downtown Chicago, and he just started his second round last week. He is expected to be able to do treatment outpatient, but this will still require Ryan and his parents to finance lodging and travel to and from Chicago.

The good news?! Hodgkin's Lymphoma is a highly treatable cancer. With excellent care and management, the survival rate is as high as 90%!

The less great news? The cost of Ryan’s chemo regimen, testing, ambulance rides, hospital stays, and medications will be astronomical. Even with health insurance, the out-of-pocket and other unexpected expenses can be overwhelming. For this reason, we are asking for you to contribute any amount you can. Every dollar will count.

We are hoping to raise $10,000 to cover the cost of Ryan’s medical expenses. Perhaps we will even exceed our goal so that Ryan can look forward to attending university next Fall!
