On Wednesday, October 11, 2023 Ryan Martin was the victim of a senseless act of violence, having been shot during a brutal crime in downtown Portland, OR.

Ryan was more than just a victim; he was a devoted husband, a loving father to eight children in a blended family, a cherished son, and a pillar in the community. His life was a tapestry woven with threads of passion for family, youth sports, music, and a deep commitment to making those around him smile.

His love for his family was a beacon of strength, and his commitment to his eight children, bound by both blood and love, was unwavering.

Ryan's entire family is establishing this GoFund Me with the hopes of continuing to provide the financial assistance to his children while they continue their education; something that was very important to him.
