Ryan “Chrisso” Christophers.
Donation protected
It’s with a heavy heart that I reach out to our community following the sudden and tragic passing of our dear friend, Ryan “Chrisso” Christophers. Ryan was taken far too soon while spending precious time with his children on the family property doing what he loved most, surrounded by the people he loved most.
At just 40 years old, Ryan was in the prime of his life. He was a devoted husband to his beautiful wife Katherine, and a proud father to their three wonderful children Ayla, Cruise, and Dusty. To know Ryan was to admire him: a loving family man, a passionate community member, a leader, mentor, and mate to so many.
Ryan lived life to the fullest, playing football with his mates, mentoring the next generation of players, adventuring outdoors with his kids, and gardening alongside Katherine. He was a cornerstone of the Southern District Crocs football, cricket, and netball clubs, giving countless hours as a player, coach, and volunteer. The Christopher family’s contributions to our community are immeasurable.
Now, in this time of unimaginable grief, we have an opportunity to give back to the family who has given so much to all of us.
I’m calling on our community, friends, and anyone moved by this story to support Katherine, Ayla, Cruise, and Dusty by donating what you can. Every contribution, big or small, will help ease the financial burdens that come with such a sudden and devastating loss, and help secure a stable future for the young family Ryan loved so dearly.
Please give if you can, and share this message far and wide. Let’s wrap our arms around the Christophers with love and support in this incredibly difficult time.
All our love and thoughts are with the family.
With thanks and kind regards,
Sean McCormack.
