Hi everyone! My name is Rob Northup, but most just call me coach. I have been coaching wrestling in Syracuse City for about 10 years. I am raising money to help get our student athlete, Ryan Brown, to the USA Wrestling Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota. Ryan is a sophomore in high school who excels not only on the wrestling mat, but also in the classroom. Ryan is an honor roll student and an active participant in his studies. His determination and hard work are what's landed Ryan to be a role model both on and off the mat. What Ryan has done in the wrestling world in 2 years is remarkable. Last year, at the USA NYS tournament, Ryan won double gold at freestyle and greco; this year, he took first place at greco and third place at freestyle. This past wrestling year, Ryan's grandmother passed away and he was unfortunately unable to wrestle at sectionals because of this. Let's work together to get Ryan a chance to wrestle at Nationals and continue to work toward his wrestling career! Thank you so much!
