Ryan Brill Memorial and Education Fund

Ryan Brill was a larger than life personality, a true friend, a loving husband, and a devoted father.  It is with the deepest sadness that he passed away unexpectedly on March 22, 2020.

Two years ago, during routine blood work for a life insurance policy, Ryan had some unexpected lab results. In true Ryan fashion, he quickly became educated on the topic, made lifestyle changes focused on his health, but continued to put the well-being of others ahead of his own. He has spent the last two years fighting treatment complications, struggling to find hope to hang on to in the darkest of times, and doing everything he could to ensure the best life for his wife, Saundra, and his sons, Gavin and Logan.

Whenever you would ask Ryan what kind of toys his boys were into, his response would be “they really like their college fund.” Even before his sons were born, Ryan began planning for their future.  From what elementary school they should attend, to what high schools they should attend, and beyond, he was focused on ensuring that his boys have every educational opportunity afforded to them.

This is why we are asking for your help. We are setting up an education fund for Gavin and Logan, so that they are unimpeded in their pursuit of their hopes and dreams, and that the next generation of Brill men can have the opportunities that Ryan worked so hard to secure.

Regardless of whether or not you are able to make a financial contribution, we do have one more request. Many of you may not know this, but before they were born, Ryan set up an email account and would write messages to his unborn sons.  Ryan’s time with his sons was cut too short, but it is our hope that the legacy he has created can live on through them.  Therefore, we will be compiling a list of stories about Ryan that we can share with Gavin and Logan, so as they grow up they can continue to learn lessons from their father.  Please email [email redacted] with your memories (and pictures) of Ryan.

No funding target has been established as any generosity is appreciated.
