As many of you know, my little brother and sister in law had a major loss Saturday when they woke up to their barn in flames. I waited to do this until they met with insurance. Unfortunately they found out today, only 10% of the building will be covered. They have been through so much the last 13 months in life, I'm not sure how they are holding up so strong. My liver transplant, the loss of what was like a brother in law to them, then a week later, the loss of my dad. We were all just starting to feel like life was getting back to normal, and this happened. Thankfully, the 3 cats all survived and are home from the vet, but are still being treated with medication. So many priceless objects and memories were in the barn, tools of my dad's, things him and my brother built together, Josiah's belongings he got for his birthday, too many to name. They have a lot of land to take care of, as well as animals. Ryan has helped me over the last year when I've needed it at home during my healing/recovery, and of course Stephanie has from the moment I found out I had a liver problem. She is always putting others first, as a nurse, we all know the heart and compassion that goes into her work and our community every single day. They weren't big on the idea of me doing this, but anyone that knows them, knows they are always there when others need help. Please donate in anyway you can, small or large, it all adds up and is all appreciated so they can have a piece of normalcy back soon for not just themselves, but their children as well. Thank you all so much and please share.
