Ryan and Jonie Madrid's Adoption Fund

As some of Ryan and Jonie's friends, we wanted to help them by raising some money for their upcoming adoption.  The adoption is quite expensive and funds are needed to be in place before they can proceed. To explain the situation a little, we asked Jonie to write abit about their story...

     Here we are, on the journey to adopt... 
Four and a half years and a miscarriage later! It’s been a long dark road, with surgery, lots of bloodwork and Doctor appointments, disappointments and yet, SO much hope!! We never lost that, although we were weary and wondering what to do next. But one morning, as I sat down with my coffee to talk and plead with God yet another time for direction, an acceptance came over us. He had broken through, a miracle happened! and God showed us just what to do! It was undeniable, God had called us to adopt.  A peace and acceptance flooded our hearts like never before, on the mountain top with God is what it felt like. We kinda thought we’d wait a bit to start the process, but God saw differently, doors opened, and so we walked thru in faith! As I sit here and write this my eyes fill with tears because God has been so good! Overwhelmed with a thankfulness I didn’t know existed. He was always there, even when the way seemed endless with no light in view. We can’t thank our friends and family enough for the support we feel and a thank you in advance for all your care and your willingness to lend a helping hand.
