It's a bitter sweet visit here in Wyoming.
Our dear brother Ryan was in a horrific accident Monday morning severing his spinal chord and leaving him paralyzed. He is still awaking from his medically induced coma. Last night he looked me straight in the eyes and he clear as day told me he loves me. It was by far one of the best moments of my life ❤
For all that know him, as you would have guessed, when awake he is in as high of spirits as can be expected. When his wife Ariane broke the news to him he just smiled that shit-eating grin of his and replied "stuuuupiiiiid".
Ryan is only 35yrs old. He married his wife Ariane 2 years ago and together they have their daughter Brinnley who is 1yr old and their first son is due to join their family in December of this year. As you all know, Ryan is one of the most physically active people and I have no doubt that he will amaze us all!
Today is a hard day, his body is tired today and there is still a lot of unknowns. He has yet to fully awake and come to terms of this new reality. We have yet to begin the long road to recovery. As we all know, Ryan is like no other person you will ever have the honor of meeting in this lifetime. Ryan has touched the lives of so many, all that meet him are left with this amazing new light of vibrance in their heart.
In conversation with Ryan's wife Ariane, she herself is coming to terms that the reality of this new life will also come with the reality of new expenses. Although Ry would never ask for help himself and though Ariane herself is finding it hard, she also is realizing even more that not only is Ryan loved by many, but that those who love him want to give!
Ariane has asked that it be known in advance that all giving is appreciated beyond measure.
We do appreciate the prayers and welcome them!!! God is amazing and we can only imagine what plans He has for Ryan...and for all of us! I have to ask myself... Do these things happen necessarily for that individual? Or do they happen for all those who will be inspired by them? We have faith in the Lord of what will come ❤
