Ryan Abele Medical Funds

For those of you who know Ryan Abele, a De La Salle High School class of 2016 graduate, then you know his charisma, sarcasm, and love for life. For those of you who don't, Ryan is incredible; loved by everyone who meets him and always making jokes.

Ryan was walking down the stairs at his Fraternity house on the morning of Sunday October 16, 2016. He fell and hit his head and was unresponsive. Ryan was rushed to the emergency room immediately and went straight into surgery. He had extensive bleeding on the left side of his brain and the main artery leading to the brain had ruptured.

The surgeon said there was no hope for him ever waking up, because of the severity of swelling in his brain. His family arrived as soon as possible and have been by his side ever since. They are talking to him, holding his hand, and trying to get him to respond.

His reflexes are all working and he has no other injuries besides the head. The nurses say they are impressed with how long he's been able to hang on, and they didn't think he would make it this far.

Ryan is a fighter. And one of the strongest and most determined people in the world. If there is a chance for him, he will fight through anything to wake back up.

His family only cares about Ryan's health, but the hospital bills can be overwhelming and very high. Please if you know Ryan or not, help out with these bills and donate to his family. Every penny counts.

And please keep him in your prayers, they are working so far!!
