A Walk in the Park

We are Lowri and Seren, the co-directors and writers of "A Walk In The Park," and we are thrilled to share our passion project with you! As we gear up to shoot our first short film this September, we are reaching out to seek your support in making this project a reality.

"A Walk In The Park" is an ode to the beauty of human connections. Set against the backdrop of a simple park bench, our narrative weaves together brief encounters, fleeting moments, and meaningful connections that speak to the profound significance of the small moments in our lives.

As independent filmmakers, we are funding this project ourselves. However, the cost of securing a suitable filming location has proven to be more substantial than initially anticipated. After consulting multiple councils in and outside London, we found that the average price of location hire is £1000 per day (and we're shooting two days). This expense presents a considerable challenge, especially considering the various other essential costs associated with producing a short film.

By contributing to our campaign, no matter the amount, you can help us overcome this financial hurdle and give "A Walk In The Park" the backdrop it requires. Not only will the correct setting add to the film's overall visual and cinematic appeal but it will also make all of our cast and crew's jobs easier on set. Having a park with facilities such as public toilets and a hub (such as a cafe) for charging camera and light batteries, means the days will run a lot more smoothly and comfortably for everyone involved in this project
