Dear friends,

Many of you may have already heard about the tragic incident Kevin suffered at a hotel in Bali on 16/11/25. While spending time with friends, a dangerously unsecured glass barrier gave way, causing him to fall four metres.

Kevin sustained catastrophic injuries: most of his ribs were broken, he suffered severe lung lacerations, internal bleeding in both lungs, and head trauma. After an 11-hour surgery, he remains in the ICU at BIMC Hospital & Cosmedic Centre Nusa. We are still unsure if, or when, he will wake up.

Being a private hospital, medical bills have already reached hundreds of thousands and continue to rise daily, placing a huge financial burden on his family during this incredibly difficult time.

We, as Kevin’s friends, are reaching out on behalf of his family. Any contribution, big or small, will help cover his ongoing life-saving care and ease the financial strain.

Kevin has always been a bright, warm, and generous soul. We are holding onto hope that he will fight his way back to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with Kevin and his family.

Update 1/12/2025: Kevin is now at ICU in RMH. Unfortunately he is still very sick and the doctor's are unsure if and when he will wake up

Update 25/11/25: Kevin's parents are organising for him to be transferred back to Melbourne. If all goes to plan he will arrive at RMH later this week.
