Just an update I will be having my Right kidney removed on Monday 3/25. I was diagnosed with stage 1 Lung cancer. I could really use the prayers on Monday for my surgery to go good with no complications and also for strength for my wife as she is very worried. I will starting chemotherapy and immunotherapy after I heal from the surgery.

To my surprise, I got diagnosed with cancer. I get it, it's serious and doctors where I live, don't seem to care...how can I say that? Easy, no compassion, no I am sorry's, nothing.

" You got stage four cancer and your dying. " Out the door they go. Four of them acted in same way.

I told wife let's take what money we saved go to Las Vegas where my VA doctor is at, so we left.

Here I sit, waiting for VA to gather my records and such and it's been two weeks and finally getting in to oncologist to be seen for chemotherapy. Thank God!

God humbles people for different reasons but whatever it is, I am fighting this. Here my doctor says other doctors are wrong but I am holding on to prayers she is right. She said I am not dying but how I feel very weak and tired and lost 42 pounds in two months is crazy.

I sincerely thank all those who pray for me. Gosh, I need it...I am not ready to abandon my kids, granddaughter or my strong wife of 37 years. I just can't there's a lot of love left in this heart.

Anyone who knows VA moves slow, protocols followed and red tape but moves ahead.

My wife started go fund me account but I have always paid my own way never asking for anything but have always helped others without hesitation. Like my dad before me who was too proud to accept help.

My wife told me, we need help because honestly I am at a rate of 10% not 100% like most veterans.

So I get next to nothing from VA. We are struggling but I leave it in God's hands.
