Who would have known that on October 23, 2019 our lives would change forever? That was the day my love was diagnosed. They say, “Love conquers all...” but what about cancer? 1st Corinthians 13th chapter states “Charity (love) suffereth long and is kind. Charity envieth not: vaunteth not itself... is not puffed up. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil. Rejoiceth not in iniquity but in truth...seeth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Charity NEVER FAILETH
Father,
Grant us the patience necessary to suffer through this cancer journey that is set before us.
And if it be thy will, we ask that you miraculousy
restore us
When the night hours of life fall and life’s
experiences turn cold...
Help us to be kind to one another and be a warm
hand to hold.
Help us not to be envious of those whose fate
appears different than our own...
those that travel a less bumpy route with ours
filled with cobblestone
But instead, help us to realize that we all are just
trying to make it to the same destination
though we arrive in different vehicles, some earlier and some with hesitation
Help us not to call on your name-only for help
when we feel defeated ...
but to remember to bless your name in all our victories and battles we’ve competed
Help us not to boast of ourselves understanding
there is nothing good in us but YOU
Help us to understand that this road we travel is
not just about us but about what all for others
we can do
When it appears our faith contradicts their facts
guard our minds and guide our thoughts
Help us to cast down imagination and to call all doubt and fear to nought
Help us to view our circumstances through a
different set of eyes
that when we’re feeling low our eyes will meet
and say one to another’s spirit, “STILL I RISE.”
Help us to be examples of your true love just
incase we’re the only Jesus someone else may
ever see
That through us, one might be able to witness an all enduring, always believing, never failing

offsetting some of the many unforeseen expenses we have and continue to encounter...from gas and other travel expenses going back and forth to an out of state cancer treatment center, to ridiculous price gouging hospital cafeteria food, to
the upfront cost of certain “uncovered” medication, to falling behind on household bills due to time missed from work and will continue to miss
in order to care for and to be there formy love in
his time of need...I can ASSURE you that
