Daisy Ward - Bristol Children's Hospital

Donation protected
Hi all.

Our child, Flo, was involved in an RTC and is currently in Bristol Children's Hospital.

Part of the operation Flo needed involved an skin transplant and skin graft. As part of this process, the skin transplant need to be monitored every 30 minutes with a Doppler to ensure blood flow and check everything is ok. Flo's transplant had issues a few hours after surgery, and the nurse doing her checks found this issue with a Doppler. So Flo could be taken down and they could fix the issue.

These little machines on the High Dependency Ward, check for vascular issues in small babies, children with burns and skin transplants. They are a vital tool. However, the wards Doppler has seen better days.

This piece of equipment is vital and with the NHS going through issues as we know, I really want to try and buy two for the ward.

So if you can spare a few quid, we can help these nurses look after these children. They have been amazing so far with Flo.

Many Thanks

Jonny and Beth.
