Hello everyone,
My name is PG, I am based in the UK and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. My family (Aunties, Uncles, cousins and other relatives) in Slipe District, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica has been deeply affected by Hurricane Melissa. The storm brought days of rain, flooding, and fierce winds that has left many homes destroyed and lives turned upside down.
Our roof was torn off, furniture and belongings soaked and ruined, and the crops our family depends on for income washed away. Like many in our community, we are now trying to start over with almost nothing.
Right now, we urgently need help to:
- Repair and rebuild damaged homes
- Replace lost furniture, clothing, and essentials
- Provide food, clean water, and basic supplies
- Support children and elders who have been displaced
This GoFundMe will go directly towards helping my families in Slipe District get back on their feet. Even a small donation can bring hope — a meal, a dry place to sleep, or the start of rebuilding what was lost.
