Help Me Save My Dog
Donation protected
My name is Rowena Williamson. I am an 80-year-old widow living alone with my two deerhounds, Taz and Ryan, who keep me company while I write my novels. I am retired, and novel-writing doesn't do much to pay the bills. I've lived in the same house for 30 years, and just recently had to purchase a new furnace and water heater to get me and my dogs through the winter.
Taz, my 7-year-old deerhound, came down with pneumonia about two months ago and later developed an infection in her spine that kept her from walking. She's recovering slowly, but she may need to be on medication for the rest of her life. The furnace and water heater have drained my bank account, and I'm afraid that I won't be able to pay my dog's vet bills and continued care.
If you've ever loved an animal, you know that how much joy and companionship they can bring to your life. Every donation you make will not only extend Taz's life, but give her quality of life as well. If I make more than my goal, I plan to set up a help line for other deerhounds and their owners facing similar dilemmas.
Thank you so much for your time.
