Hello, We are Kevin and Lisa, and we are fundraising for our friends Lori and Chad. Just a week ago they went to dinner and came home to find their home on North Duluth Avenue on fire. Their beloved dog, Diesel had taken refuge under an upstairs bed and despite the best efforts of Sturgeon Bay Firefighters and paramedics, Diesel didn't make it.

For the last week, Lori and Chad - while dealing with everything else - have told countless friends that they're OK and didn't need help. Well, they were in shock. Just a few days ago they said farewell to Diesel and realized everything they own fit into four Target bags.

Lori's work friends rallied and found a place for them to live - but it's only temporary. Finding a new home, in Door County, Wisconsin is challenging and they have now realized the expenses they've been covering are taking a bigger toll than they realized.

Lori is a survivor. So is Chad. Together they teamed up and beat Lori's breast cancer several years ago... and they'll survive this with the same grace. They just need a little boost to help deal with this unexpected loss of everything they owned. They know it could have been much worse.

Thank you for considering helping them.
