Hi, my name is Jamie Ocampo. I’m the middle child in a family of six my two parents and my three siblings.

On a Thursday afternoon, our home was destroyed in an electrical fire. My mom and I tried to put it out with a water hose, but it was too strong. The fire spread quickly, and we lost almost everything.

We are a hardworking Latino family who have built everything we have from the ground up. This tragedy has left us with nothing, and we are now facing the difficult challenge of trying to repair our home and replace what was lost.
