CHESTER NEEDS YOUR HELP

Hi Supporters, My name is Kim and I’m a volunteer at Brave Companion Dog Rescue and I’m asking for your help . Chester was recently (1.5 weeks ago recently) adopted to an amazing young gentlemen Callum who loves him very much ! Chester was dumped on our doorstop nameless , Chipless, shaking , skin and bones with a meter long chain dragging behind him. He was with us from May 2022 up until he was adopted by Callum early March 2023. Whilst the rescue covers the essentials , flea & tick and intestinal worming - without symptoms or signs we don’t have the facilities to check for heart worm and it is always recommended to get them tested before putting them on preventative (it can kill them if they have heart worm) as a responsible , loving and caring fur parent , that's just what Callum did - Chester has heart worm , not only on top of the time off work , the money to buy him a pen to keep him from not over exerting himself when at work etc , and all the medication on top is significantly large (quotes attached) pet cover doesn't cover pre existing / before the waiting period . Callum was told he could return the dog and get a full refund but that was a stern no as after almost a year in the shelter he wasn't returning or giving up on Chester . So because we know chester will never give up on his owner it was wonderful to hear that Callum doesn't want to give up on Chester , so we are hoping with this fundraiser we can help aid the financial stress for Callum & chester . Please know chester would die without treatment and the treatment is also a risk but him being healthy and young (minus the heart worm) he has a great chance. Please help us get chester this chance . Chester has just started his 28 days of pills for the bacteria . ❤️
