My name is Mark Pinelli.  I am going to have surgery on an impinged ulnar nerve and for carpel tunnel syndrome. I currently work as a cook and unfortunatley my job does not offer sick days or paid leave. I need the surgery in order to continue working. It will put me out of work for up to 2 months, during which time I will have no income. My wife is an adjunct professor who is contracted semester to semester.  She typically plans for a reduced income in the summer, but without my pay we cannot make ends meet. We have an eight month old daughter and a 6 year old son who attends a private school.  [Next to the mortgage, tuition is our next biggest expense. Our son attends private school because of the poor public school options in our area.  Despite our efforts we have not 'won' the lottery for a spot at a charter school.]  My Insurance covers most of the surgery cost, but we are already behind on the mortgage and utilities. The loss of work will impact my family so much I am turning to strangers for assistance.  Any help provided will be forever appreciated.
