When my kids were younger I started teaching a FILM CLASS at their elementary school. Well my kids have grown and switched schools but the film class continued to grow. The class allows kids to ACT, WRITE, DIRECT and FILM short movies that we then put on YOUTUBE. Here's my youtube site

At one point I was teaching this class at both their old school and the new one. I have since started a Saturday morning class as well as a 4 week summer camp for kids.

I have even been approached about taking the class to other schools. My PROBLEM is that MY CAMERA is just TOO OLD and out of date now and to be honest, it's on it's last leg.
THIS CAMPAIGN, is to help raise money to get not just one but TWO NEW CAMERAS so that even more kids can work with them at one time. ALSO I'd like to add an EDITING portion to the class that would allow the kids to learn how to edit their own movies. YOUR CONTRIBUTION will aid in getting the CAMERAS, EDITING SOFT WARE, TWO LAP TOPS FOR EDITING, TRIPODS, MICROPHONES, AND IF THERE'S ANYTHING LEFT OVER POSSIBLY EVEN LIGHTING EQIPMENT.
Any little bit will help put a smile on these youg peoples faces. If you go to my site you will see that we have done a lot of movies and you can tell how much fun they are having. A lot of these kids have never acted before and love that they get to be on youtube for family and friends to see all over the country.
