The Bald and the Beautiful
Our mission is to raise as much money as
possible to support this beautiful family of four who are experiencing one of the most
challenging and terrifying experiences the worst C word of them all Cancer.
Tracey at the tender age of 38 is far to young to be battling a very aggressive and stubborn
breast cancer. Tracey is currently undergoing
what can only be described as a horrific and
gruelling treatment regiment with 6 months
behind her and several more months ahead,
including surgery hopefully in next few weeks
and 6 weeks or radiation treatment in Perth
post surgery. No one at the age of 37 just a few
days out from Christmas ever expects to receive such life changing news.
That was the harsh reality for the Pountney’s
a young beautiful, hard working family
The nightmare that this beautiful family are
experiencing and all the stress associated is only compounded by the financial strain, with Tracey being unable to work and Matt needing to
balance providing financially for the family,
whilst supporting Tracey through their biggest
battle. As they move closer to the next phase of treatment the family will be separated, with
Matt and the kids making the trip back and forth at the weekends to support Tracey.
We can’t take the Cancer away, nor battle this
disease for her, we can’t ease the constant
worry of Tracey, Matt, Tyler, Jayda and all those
that love this remarkable family. But we can and we will raise as much money as possible to
reduce the financial burden.
So with that in mind four fabulous women
Tamara, Dee, Mim and Renata will be shaving
their hair in support of Tracey and her family.
All money raised is going direct to the family, to ensure the roof remains firmly over their head,
the lights on and the food stocked in the fridge.
The reality is that anyone of us could find
ourselves in this position, no matter our age,
how good we plan or how hard we work. With
that thought in mind We are asking you to dig
deep and donate. Every little bit helps.
Our target is at Minimum $5000.
