Hi, my name is Carmeta. I am the older sister of Martin. My brother is in need of cataract removal surgery. My family come from humble beginnings in St Elizabeth Jamaica. Our father passed away when my brother was only 6, leaving our mother as a single mother of 5 children. Growing up we didn't have much. In his twenties he started showing signs of having mental health issues and was later diagnosed with schizophrenia. Our family has done our best to care for him over the years but with no health insurance coverage we require some assistance with getting this treatment done for his eyes.
