As many of you know, Jessica and Tyler welcomed their beautiful son, Liam, into the world on March 9, 2024. Those early days were filled with joy, discovery, and unconditional love as they embarked on the journey of parenthood. But recently, their happiness was shaken by the unimaginable—Jessica’s diagnosis of Stage 1 Triple-Negative Breast Cancer.
We’re coming together as a community to lighten Jessica’s load so she can focus on what matters most: her health and being there for her little one. When asked how she felt about the diagnosis, Jessica shared her deepest fear: “What if Liam needs me and I can’t be there for him in the way he needs?” This is a fear no mother should ever have to endure.
Our goal is to ensure Jessica can focus fully on motherhood and recovery, without the added burden of financial stress. Here’s how your support will help:
- Assist with the cost of fertility treatment, specifically embryo freezing procedures any medications needed, and storage of the embryos, as chemotherapy can be detrimental to the reproductive system.
- Financial support to cover the cost of bills as Jessica may need some time away from work due to the physical toll of treatment. She has already taken off and used 12 weeks this year for maternity leave through FMLA.
- Any cost needed to go towards Liam, their 8 month old, whether it be formula, diapers, wipes, clothes, etc.
Jessica has been a light in the lives of so many—her kindness, warmth, and resilience inspire all who know her. Now, it’s our turn to rally around her and her family during this challenging time.
