Let me start off by saying welcome to my page. I was injured on August 10, 2003 by hit and run accident. From the accident, I suffered a C5 incomplete spinal cord injury. I am paralyzed from the chest down. I was the passenger in the car. By the grace of God, my friend, that was driving, did not get hurt. My injury, just like others with spinal cord injuries, has changed my life tremendously. I went from being independent, a football player, and liked by many on campus, to having depend on people to help me 24/7. That was and still is hard for me. But I know it could be worst. With the support of my family and close friends, they have helped me tremendously. I don't look at my injury to be a bad thing, I see it as a blessing because I still have life. We all complain sometimes but there is someone out there that has it worst than you.
