Hi! My name is Kate Neville, and I am a social work student at Boise State University.

On Monday (8/10/2025), one of my front teeth, a veneer, broke clean off and left the root of my tooth exposed. Since this occurred, I have had two different consults and was informed that my insurance, Medicaid, wouldn't cover the procedure due to it being an "aesthetic procedure." In reality, it is putting my other front teeth at risk, and it is painful because it is an exposed root. This medical care I need is not optional for me and is a huge cause of turmoil for me.
