Kære Venner og Støtter ,

Vi er glade for at kunne lancere Nybro-Furå Kano og Kajakklubs kapkano-program, et omfattende initiativ, der har til formål for alvor at genoplive kapkano sporten i Danmark.

Vores program består af to hovedformål - at støtte NFKKs elite kapkano hold i deres jagt på toppræstationer og at fremme væksten af den næste generation af kapkano-atleter.

Vores hold består af 8 talentfulde atleter, hvoraf nogle allerede har repræsenteret Danmark med stolthed i 2023-sæsonen ved verdensmesterskaberne i sprint og maraton. Vi ønsker at bygge videre på denne succes og give atleterne de nødvendige ressourcer, herunder træningslejre, fysioterapi, rådgivning og tests. Dette vil give dem de bedste muligheder for at konkurrere på højeste internationale niveau og indfri deres fulde potentiale. Vi ønsker at bygge videre på deres succes og inspirere den næste generation af unge atleter til at begynde at padle kapkano. Med inspiration i vore nuværende atleters succes vil vi motivere og opmuntre unge mennesker til at følge i deres fodspor og forfølge passionen for kapkano.

For at nå vores mål om at revitalisere kanosporten i Danmark, sigter vi desuden mod at opbygge et nyt begynderhold. Klubben planlægger at lancere sit begynderprogram fra foråret 2024 og inviterer 10-12-årige drenge og piger til at deltage i klubbens træning. Med din støtte kan vi levere det rigtige udstyr, coaching og arrangere motiverende events, så unge mennesker kan finde glæden ved og dermed udvikle sig inden for sporten.

Vi tror på, at succesen med vores begynderprogram vil danne grundlag for en fremtid for kapkano sporten i Danmark. For at opnå dette har vi dog brug for dit bidrag til at støtte dette "pilot"-program og hjælpe os med at tage det første skridt mod at udvide sporten i Danmark, samtidig med at vi kan supportere de talentfulde kanoatleter på vores hold frem mod deres mål og give dem de bedste muligheder for at konkurrere på højeste internationale niveau og indfri deres fulde potentiale.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Nybro-Fura Canoe program, a comprehensive initiative aimed at revitalizing the canoe sport in Denmark. Our program comprises two key objectives - supporting the Nybro-Fura Canoe team in their quest for excellence, and fostering the growth of the next generation of canoe athletes.

Our team is made up of 8 talented athletes some of them have already represented Denmark with pride in the 2023 season at the sprint and marathon world championships. We want to build on their success and provide them with the necessary resources, including training camps, physical therapy, counseling, and scientific testing. This will give them the best opportunity to compete at the highest level and fulfill their potential. We want to build on their success and inspire the next generation of young athletes to take up canoeing. Through showcasing the success of our current athletes, we aim to motivate and encourage young people to follow in their footsteps and pursue their passion for canoeing.

Furthermore, to achieve our goal of revitalizing the canoe sport in Denmark, we aim to build a new beginner team. The club is planning to launch its beginner program from spring 2024, inviting 10-12 years old boys and girls to participate in the club's training. With your support, we can provide the right equipment, coaching, and coordinate events, allowing young people to discover and develop their talents in the sport.

We believe that the success of our beginner program will set the foundation for the revitalization of canoe sport in Denmark. However, to achieve this, we need your contribution to support this “pilot” program and help us take the first step towards growing the sport in Denmark.
