Matt needs our help

As some know Matt has been dealing with an unusual and embarrassing medical issue. Early June he noticed his scrotum getting larger. June 7th it swelled up to the size of a soccer ball. He went in for emergency care. After a ton of tests they determined he had a massive infection and Matt was admitted into the hospital for 5 days. Although he was released he has been continuing treatment for the past 6 months. Multiple weekly doctors visits and medications seemed to be slowly working. Unfortunately, his healing didn't allow him to work very much. When he did, it was very painful and sometimes flat out unbearable. The treatment started to fail and the doctors decided it was time for surgery. On December 16th the doctors thought they successfully removed the infection. Matt was told he needed to take a 1-2 weeks off work. He had already missed so much work and was falling behind terribly financially. He decided and felt okay enough to go back to work after a week and a half of healing. His first day back didn't go as planned. He was in pain, started swelling, and knew something wasn't right. He left work and went to the doctors office. They sent him straight to kadlec to get an ultrasound to make sure another infection didn't form. December 27th an ultrasound was performed. After 5 hours he was sent home and told to put ice on it. After being home in bed elevating, icing, and attempting to sleep, it didn't help the excruciating pain. Then he felt his sutures pop. He called the ambulance and was transported to the hospital. Matt hasn't left the hospital since. After procedures, various treatments, and medications it's still unknown when he will be released from the hospital. It's also unknown how long he'll be out of work. We know at this point it will be at least a month but can very likely be longer. Poor Matt and his scrotum need time to heal without stress. Without feeling the urgency of having to get back to work. He's already missed so much. Please, we're calling for help from family and friends. Anything helps. 5 dollars and even just a share goes a long way. Thank you for taking your time to read this.
