On the morning of April 11th we received the unfortunate news that our beloved uncle Leo was involved in a fatal accident. As he was crossing the street he was struck by a vehicle. He sustained life threatening injuries that left his chances of survival from slim to none. He suffered several fractures throughout his body including his head that left him with severe head trauma causing him to go into a state of coma. From the moment he arrived to the CCU immediate family members were called upon in order to be with him during his final hours due to the doctors giving my family & I no hope. We remained hopeful, but began preparing ourselves for the worst. As of April 12th at 1:13pm he was pronounced brain dead. He was a registered organ donor & will have surgery scheduled within the next 2-3 days. He once said he wanted to be remembered as a hero & now he will be. This news has left us all devastated, but has left his mom completely broken. During these hard times we ask for help to provide him with the proper burial that he deserves & to help his mom with all the costs. No donation is too small & one share goes a long way. Thank you.
