Staff, family and friends from across The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust (RWT) will take on a new challenge each year to raise money for our trust charity and a nominated charity from which our patients benefit. Not only will our annual challenges give financial support to our chosen charities, but they will also support us with our own physical and mental health.
This year our #RWTChallenge will be a Mount Snowdon walk at sunset, and our nominated partnership charity will be Macmillan Cancer Support.

Climb Mount Snowdon at Sunset:
The Snowdon Sunset Walk starts in the afternoon from the village of Llanberis, where we will take a leisurely walk up the Llanberis Path. You will reach the summit of Snowdon with plenty of time to watch dusk descend on the mountains of Snowdonia. This path is one of the most accessible walks up and down Snowdon and is the best to use at night for the descent. After watching the Snowdon sunset, you will turn on your head torches and enjoy a moonlit sky as you make your way down the same footpath.
Snowdonia has the 'International Dark Sky Reserve' status. You will get a rare and unique view of billions of stars splashed across the night sky, which are special on a clear night, and the sunset photos over Snowdonia will be incredible.
