This is my baby boy, Jax. He’s a wild child and loves to explore, but he explored a little too hard this time. He came home after a week and a half of adventures with a dislocated hip. We brought him to the ER, and after X-rays and meds, we decided to try and pop it back in, but it’s only a 50% chance it would stay. Before he left the ER, it popped back out, so that means surgery for this little guy. He’s been a part of my life for years and officially became mine when my best friend had a baby and needed me to help out by taking him for a little while. A few months turned into years, and he’s been the happiest man being able to run free and not bother the baby.
Anyone who has met Jax loves him instantly and would be devastated if we had to put down everyone’s favorite kitty. Vet care should NOT be this expensive, but it’s the world we live in. Today’s visit and diagnosis put me behind more than I’d like to admit, and it’s only the beginning.
Anything helps, and we appreciate it all.
