Hi, my name is Hannah and I am trying to raise enough money to pay for my kitten’s surgery. When we got clover, we noticed something wasn’t right and after many vet appointments and tests, she was diagnosed with a portosystemic shunt. This is where the liver cannot digest food properly, causing ammonia (toxins) to build up in the blood stream which causes clover to have symptoms of poisoning. This develops to cause neurological issues like seizures too. We are trying to manage her symptoms with medication but the only way to cure her is through specialist surgery which will cost £7k!
