Skip Hovsmith was a beloved husband, father, teammate, colleague, community member, and friend. He is pictured above during a moment of joy - running the California International Marathon with his children on Sunday, December 7, 2025.

Four months later, on Saturday, April 4, 2026, he passed away after a 2-year battle with epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE), an ultra-rare vascular cancer. Friends of Skip are raising funds on behalf of his family to help with medical expenses and other associated costs.
