Phineas

Hi all! I’m starting a fundraiser for a cat we recently rescued, widely known on our street as Pistachio/Old Man Cat/The Stagg Cat/Georgie/Sam - we call him Phineas. He was living in the hallway of our building for about a month due to being really sick with reoccurring eye infections, and our landlord threatened to take him away. My partner and I didn’t want to see Phineas continue suffering and definitely didn’t want the landlord to take him away from a street he’s been living on for 10+ years, so we took him to the vet and now he’s living happily in our home. Although he’s a lot happier here, he was diagnosed with Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), so he’s very susceptible to illness, infection and teeth diseases. He’s been in a lot of pain due to an impacted tooth, which may very well likely be causing these reoccurring eye infections. We’ll need to get him surgery on his teeth, so we started this gofundme to pay for this procedure that will ultimately help him get better so he can live a happy comfortable life with us!
