RWH Family in Need

One of my dear friends and neighbor is in need of support. She is continuously giving to those in need and does so much for our neighborhood, Ridgewood Hills, as well as the community of Fort Collins and Loveland.  Her 9 year old son has been battling bone cancer for several months now. He has been in and out of the children's hospital, underwent chemo treatments and just finished 6 weeks of daily radiation treatments. Despite everything, my dear friend has been helping with neighborhood events and helping those less fortunate for the holidays. She even helped last year while her husband was out of work during the government shut down, never once asking for anything for herself or family. She is always doing for others even complete strangers. She never asks for anything in return. Even though everyone has asked what they need during this difficult time, she says "nothing". She and her husband have been "living" away from their home to be close to the hospital in Aurora. She has had to cut work hours drastically.  Her son has been in such good spirits and maintains a positive attitude. So much a 9 year old should never have to experience. 

I am creating this campaign as a way to show her love and appreciation for all that she does. I know that the holidays are right around the corner and many of us do not have much to spare, but if you can spare a couple of dollars it will add up and hopefully we can provide a little relief for them. I will have this going until December 20th.
