Royal Warrior ROTC Military Ball
Donation protected
We are writing on behalf of the Cadets of the Royal Warrior Battalion, Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program. The ROTC program is responsible for developing and commissioning Second Lieutenants into the United States Army. The Royal Warrior Battalion Cadets come from seven different campuses throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania including: The University of Scranton, Kings College, East Stroudsburg University, Wilkes University, Marywood University, Penn State Worthington Scranton, and Misericordia University. While consistently upholding the highest standards of excellence, our battalion has a reputation of commissioning among the finest Officers in the country.
Every year units throughout the Army come together for a time honored tradition, the military ball. This event is integral to unit cohesion, esprit de corps and also allows the unit to acknowledge the Soldiers’ achievements throughout the year. It is also a time for the Royal Warrior Battalion to recognize, congratulate, and say farewell to our soon-to-commissions Officers. On 1 April, 2016 Cadets from across our campuses will assemble to celebrate in our own military ball. This event has consistently been one of the highlights of our Cadets’ year. Funding has always been a challenge in hosting a proper military ball and with the ongoing budget concerns throughout the program, the next few years will be even more stringent.
As we prepare for our annual military ball, we ask that you support our battalion by helping us offset the cost of this year’s event for our Cadets. The Cadets already have several fundraisers planned, but in order to facilitate the cost of $7,200 required for the event, we would appreciate your contribution. Any donation offered toward the funding of this event would be greatly appreciated and would ensure that it is a memorable experience for all Cadets while fully upholding the dignity and honor of this timeless tradition.
On behalf of all the Royal Warrior Battalion Cadets, we would like to thank you once again for your continued and unwavering support.
