I moved to Virginia for a fresh start. Boy, was I in for a treat. Things started off fine, but quickly degraded. I have been here for six months, and while I was moving into my apartment, the police decided to come around for some reason and check the VIN number on my car. It turns out the car that I bought in March was stolen, so the police took it. Living without a car has not been easy in a town that doesn’t really have a public transit system set up. I’ve been spending $800 a month just on Uber to get to and from work. And now, last Friday, I lost my job. I have decided that my little Virginia Beach experiment has come to an end because everything has been so much harder than it should be, but I need help getting home. A U-Haul is $800 alone. I will pretty much spend all the money I have left just on gas alone, I imagine. I’ve exhausted pretty much all of my options. Please help Cassie and I get back to the Midwest!!!
