With a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit I am reaching out to members of the public and our community. Unfortunately our beloved Gravelley Bridge Shooting Association , a place that has brought together countless individuals through sport, safety, and community, is now facing the very real threat of closure due to planning permission issues.

After years of serving as a vital resource for responsible Target shooting practice, competitive shooting, and recreational enjoyment, we’ve been told we must cease operations unless we can successfully appeal the recent planning decision. This is not just about saving a shooting range — it’s about preserving a safe, controlled environment for enthusiasts, youth programs, and newcomers to learn and grow.

The appeals process is lengthy and costly. Between legal representation, planning consultants, and administrative fees, we are facing a significant financial hurdle — one we would greatly appreciate your support.
