Thank you all for the donations. The large showing of support for family and friends to Renee's viewing and service on Friday was overwelming to all involved. Your support and kind words of memories and shared love truley showed each and everyone how she impacted everyones life in the simplest of ways. Public viewing for Renee. Will be this Friday, April 17th from 5-7pm at the New Comer Funeral Home on 343 New Karner Road in Colonie, NY 12205.
At around 8pm on the 13th of April. The heavans gained another bright soul with the acceptance of Renee Bruneau. Renee was struck by a hit and run vehicle on Central Avenue of Colonie while walking home from Wendy's. She was pronounced dead at the scene as her heart had stopped due to massive head trauma. The driver that struck her did not stop and the police are still looking for the suspect with absolutely no leads. It appears that there is going to be problems with her life insurance and will not cover the costs. As this week will go by extremely fast with many thoughts and prayers shared. The financial burden will add up on her daugher, Monica Hickey and Renee's surviving fiance, Jimmy Sheehan. Jimmy and Renee were set to be wed next month after being together for approximately 12 years. I have decided to set this campaign up for Monica Hickey, as her boyfriend and Jimmy Sheehan Any and all donations made will go strictly to Renee's honor and be used to make sure she rests as peacefully as she deserves. The campaign goal of $1000 was changed to the current amount because we started the campaign without estimates for the funeral services. We now have a better idea of the difference.
