Charity Boxing in Aid of Cross Cancer Research

Hi, my name is Roan and I will be participating in the UCD Commerce & Economics Society's Charity Boxing Event on March 7th. Over the next 6 weeks, I'll be taking part in a training camp with the Headon Boxing Academy. Any and all donations would be enormously appreciated with proceedings going to the Cross Cancer Research Charity Fund as well as the training fee.

Having lost my mother to a four year battle with cancer in January of this year this cause means a lot to me.

The mission of the registered charity CROSS is to support Cancer Research and improve patient care at the Trinity Translational Medicine Institute, Trinity College and St. James’s Hospital. The charity does this through supporting the education and training of high quality medical and scientific students in their careers as young cancer researchers.

The charity also invests in laboratory equipment to drive translational research projects aimed at the prevention, understanding and treatment of various forms of cancer.
