My name is Matthew Mackay. I am 42 and I started working out at 13 to build my self confidence and stop bullies from bothering me. I have been competing
in the Canadian Powerlifting Union since 1998 and have now been selected to compete at the World Powerlifting Championships in Finland in June for Team Canada. I have competed in many local competitions and three National Championships on my own dime. This would be the pinnacle of my lifting career and the only reservation I had about going was the cost. I own my own small business and have supported /sponsored over 100 athletes/teams over the last 20 years including many hockey teams , other sports teams, bodybuilders etc. This is the first time that I need help. With a wife and two kids it's hard to afford such a trip(plane, hotels and other fees). So if you can help send me to Finland to represent for Team Canada any help would be greatly appreciated. I will try to do my best
