Tara's Transition Fund

Hi all, my name is Tara. I'm an mtf trans woman who began transitioning in February of 2021. Since coming out publicly about my identity, I have felt so much more genuine happiness in life and am preparing to take the next steps that I need in my transition journey. I'm currently looking into getting facial feminization surgery to help with fixing some parts of my facial structure which unfortunately still cause people to misgender me and to genuinely just feel more symmetry between my inner identity and my outward image. I went back and forth on posting this as I typically hate asking for any financial help, but after initial research and consultations have been told that the amount for this procedure is 30,000-40,000 and insurance would not be able to cover. I've already saved up over 10,000 and plan to continue to save towards this procedure, but need help to hit my goal sooner rather than having to wait over 5 years to make this happen. Any help or even just sharing is appreciated, and I also appreciate everyone who has been so kind and supportive of me through this transition this year. It means the world.
