Hi my Name is Lisa. I am writing this on behalf of my close friend Stacey who needs our help!!

Stacey is one of the most kind hearted, upbeat and inspiring people that I know. She is one of those people who light up a room when she walks in. Despite her circumstances, I see her reaching out to help others daily, while continuing to stay positive and have faith for herself. A few months ago, I was hit by a car and in the hospital for weeks. Stacey made sure to come visit me on a regular basis so I knew I wasn’t alone, and that I was loved. That meant so much to me. That’s a small example of the type of person Stacey is. She is such a kind and loving person who deserves to live a long and healthy life, and with your help, we can make that possible.

I am organizing this because Stacey needs a life saving open heart surgery as soon as possible. As many of you know, Stacey is in recovery. She just celebrated 1 year clean on February 8th. She is also a survivor of endocarditis. Since she's been in recovery, the doctors have informed her that she has two leaking heart valves that need to be repaired. This will require an open heart surgery. The heart surgeons need her to be cleared by a dentist because the same bacteria that infects teeth is what infects hearts and they want to take all precaution necessary to reduce the chances of any infection happening post-surgery. The dentist needs to do two extractions to clear her for valve surgery.

Stacey's been working at Morton's to pay her bills and save money, however, she's experiencing increased symptoms from the heart condition. This has caused her to work less hours and have to see the doctor more frequently. I’m doing this fundraiser for her because I want to help her have the means to afford the dental work necessary to get her open heart surgery and to help her with living expenses post-surgery.

Stacey has shown up for me, and so many others in their journey of recovery, and I am asking for anything you can to help us do that for her. If you cannot donate, please like and share, as this helps get this out there. Thank you for all you prayers and support.
