Hi Everyone,
My name is Nancy Ganzekaufer and I'm setting this up for my dear friend Carolyn Curran Meyer and her family. Carolyn was recently diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. Gioplastoma is a fast moving, aggressive cancer. Within two weeks, Carolyn went from simply having a headache and feeling dizzy and having her handwriting change to not being able to write, walk, or eat consistently without assistance.
She had brain surgery to remove the tumor on February 8, 2016 and is now facing six weeks of radiation therapy and chemo for an undetermined amount of time. She lives in Seaford, NY with her husband Tim Meyer and has four beautiful daughters who attend college in the NY Tri-State area. Doctors and therapy are in Manhattan which will cause an extreme financial and emotional toll on Carolyn and her family.
The funds donated will go towards making Carolyn as comfortable as possible during her treatments and help the family with the costs associated with her treatments and being out of work.
