I flew to Toronto in October 2014 for medical reasons only to find out I am diagnosed with Cancer, after asking for medical help in Nunavut for many months, it was a long waiting game for me and I had enough of the waiting game also was told to go online to find out what's wrong with me.
Currently, we are actively seeking any donations that you are able to provide, This fundraising effort is for myself and for those who are providing compassionate care for me during this ongoing battle against cancer. My husband and I also my son who is here with us in Toronto to remove the cancerous tumor. As this medical care is away from any Inuit Centre, we are responsible for all associated costs regarding housing, transportation and meals.
As you can understand this is a very stressful period. Any assistance to relieve the financial stress on my family and I would be sincerely appreciated.
